Exploring eucalypt species with a focus on adaptability and fire resistance

The incidence of forest fires in Chile over recent years has produced substantial economic and social impacts. There is a growing interest to investigate fire-tolerant eucalyptus species suited for regions characterized by low rainfall. This project is directed towards the exploration of temperate eucalyptus species, emphasizing attributes such as growth, pest resistance and fire tolerance, particularly for planting in the central Chile region.
