“Monitoring genetic diversity within a clonal tree breeding program in Chile”

The objective of a tree breeding program is to maximise genetic gain per unit time while preserving genetic diversity. Mantaining optimal levels of genetic diversity is essential for mitigating the impact of both biotic and abiotic potential risks in a changing environment. This project aims to develop tools for monitoring coancestry within a clonal tree breeding program in Chile.
